Beautifully presented and fully outfitted, the Coffee Starter Kit is a complete toolkit for the novice coffee drinker to begin exploring the rich, flavorful world of Hunter Bay’s freshly roasted gourmet coffees.

The brewing method we like best is the French Press where coarsely ground coffee is steeped in precisely heated water to extract the full flavor of the beans, then is filtered to the bottom of the pot with a sieved plunger. The finest French Press coffee makers are from the Bodum Company — for our kit we have chosen one of Bodum’s original French Press pots, the Brazil, for its sleek lines and efficient design and have included detailed instructions and recommendations for brewing.

The best coffee requires that you start with the best coffee beans. At Hunter Bay we roast and blend our gourmet coffees daily using traditional slow-roasting techniques, and package the coffee immediately to preserve maximum freshness and flavor.

Moose Drool Organic Dark Roast
100% Organic and Shade Grown, Moose Drool is rich, thick, and low in caffeine with a sweet caramel flavor, a hint of brown sugar and spice, and a smooth, mild aftertaste. Roasted slowly to the medium-dark end of the French scale Moose Drool emerges from the roaster dark brown in color with a translucent ebony sheen. Brewed, the coffee explodes with rich aromas of semi-sweet chocolate and vanilla caramel.
