All Hunter Bay coffee comes whole bean because once ground, coffee looses flavor rapidly. Ground coffee has more exposed surface area than whole bean, and the more surface area exposed in a food with volatile aromatics like coffee, the more quickly it oxidizes and stales. We want the coffee you drink to taste as rich, fresh and flavorful as the coffee we brew here at Hunter Bay.

Manufactured by Bodum, the C-Mill has a unique, functional design. Bodum has set the C -Mill’s grinding bowl at a slant inside the housing to rotate the beans as they grind. The rotating motion grinds the beans evenly, while the strong, precise motor doesn’t generate extra heat that could compromise the flavor of the freshly roasted beans.
