Light Roast: Kenya Peaberry is an intense, fruity coffee of exceptional quality, a medium-bodied brew with aromatic sweet-chocolate overtones and distinctive, winey flavors of dried fruit.

Grown on small independent farms at elevations ranging from 4000 to 6500 feet, the best coffees of Kenya deliver flavor in three stages: the first sip is bright, winey and citrusy, followed by a second flavor-layer of sweet chocolate infused with accents of dried fruit, and finishing with a long, pleasant chocolate and fruit aftertaste. Coffees from Kenya consistently receive high marks at international cuppings and have a group of loyal fans who love these complex coffees for their bright fruit and citrus overtones, lively acidity and extended flavor. Roasting Notes:
We roast Kenya AA to a light Full City roast to accentuate the rich dried-fruit and sweet chocolate flavors without diminishing the first-sip brightness.

Tasting Notes:
Aroma – Pungent brown sugar sweetness with honeyed fruit overtones.
Acidity – A lively mouth-feel that is snappy and sweet with bright berry overtones.
Flavor – Sweet, winey and citrusy at first, followed by full flavors of cocoa & dried fruit.
Body – Medium-bodied with a chocolate consistency. Sturdier and more complex with each sip.
Aftertaste – Very long with lingering ripe fruit and chocolate notes and a slight effervescence.
Balance – Combination of fruit and cocoa sweetness and a light citrus finish.
