Our Mission.

Hunter Bay Coffee Roasters was founded in 1991 in Missoula, Montana. For over two decades, we’ve been roasting specialty coffee daily for our customers. Hunter Bay is one of the Pacific Northwest’s premium coffee roasters, with a deep passion for coffee and community. We’re a small crew of coffee enthusiasts who spend our lives sourcing, roasting, and blending some of the world's highest quality beans. Our business is dedicated to sustainability with an efficient, low-impact roasting facilities.

Our Planet.

We care about the planet as much as we do our coffee. That’s why Hunter Bay offers many Direct Trade and Certified Organic coffees, while minimizing excessive packaging whenever possible. From farm to cup, we strive to meet the highest ecological and social standards in every step of the process.

Our small business has been in existence since 1991. We have two home bases - Colorado and Montana.
